Amboyna Burl Ambassador
Amboyna Burl Ambassador
This writing instrument is delicately handcrafted out of Amboyna Burl. Amboyna is technically not a distinct species but is the name of the burl wood from any of the Pterocarpus species. The name is derived from Ambon Island in Indonesia, where much of the figured wood is believed to have been initially exported.
It is the most expensive and sought-after of all the burl species and is used for highly decorative turnings. This deep pen is one of our favorites and is guaranteed to turn heads wherever you bring it out.
If you choose the fountain pen this writing instrument comes with a Jowo #6 nib with a medium nib. Please contact us if you prefer a different nib size; we can accommodate your needs. Also, a cartridge and a convertor are provided in the package.
All of our writing instruments come with a Roots & Jones Certificate of Authenticity and box.
