Introducing our Founders Collection. This style of writing instrument was the very first design we ever created. After 5 years of learning the craft, we are bringing it back with much better quality, featuring improved finishing techniques, palladium-plated hardware, and the Roots & Jones LuxeFlow Refill.

The Founders Collection is a slimmer style compared to our Magnetic Rollerball and to our Ambassador collections. The cap is screwed onto the base of the pen and then twists off to reveal the rollerball nib, with the option to be threaded onto the pen's back when writing. Buckeye Burl has quickly become our favorite wood to work with. If you prioritize a unique-looking pen over the story behind the wood, we recommend Buckeye Burl. It grows throughout most of the Western US and in California on the Buckeye tree. Despite being relatively soft and lightweight, we put the wood through a stabilizing process before turning to make it workable. The Burl is incredibly beautiful, featuring burl clusters, amazing color variation, and great character.
